Three days that felt like a month of memories. Our guide stopped at every viewpoint, made sure we tried every kind of local food, and even joined a wedding in a tiny mountain village. Unforgettable.

Frequently asked

Questions & answers

Everything travellers usually ask before booking with us.

Do I need a motorcycle license to ride?

Vietnam technically requires an IDP (International Driving Permit) with motorcycle class for bikes over 50cc. Most travellers ride 110-150cc semi-automatics without strict enforcement, but we strongly recommend bringing an IDP. We also offer easy-rider tours where a guide drives you on the back of the bike — no license needed.

How experienced do I need to be?

Beginners are welcome. Day 1 includes a 1-hour bike orientation in a quiet area. If you have never ridden, choose our easy-rider option. Most of our guests have 0–5 hours of prior motorbike experience.

What is included in the price?

Bike rental, fuel, helmet + safety gear, English-speaking guide, all accommodation (homestays), entry tickets, daily breakfast and dinner, and 24/7 emergency support. Lunches and drinks are paid separately so you can choose what you like.

What is the cancellation policy?

Free cancellation up to 14 days before departure — 100% refund of deposit. 7–13 days: 50% refund. Less than 7 days: deposit is non-refundable but transferrable to a future booking within 12 months.

What should I pack?

Layered clothing (mountain weather varies), closed shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen, a small daypack, swimwear, basic medications, and chargers with VN plug adapter. Heavy luggage stays at our office in Ha Giang city, free of charge.

Is travel insurance required?

Strongly recommended. Standard travel insurance often excludes motorbike accidents — make sure your policy explicitly covers motorbike riding. SafetyWing and World Nomads are popular options among our guests.

How do I pay the deposit?

After confirming your tour, we send a secure Wise or PayPal link for 20% of the total. The balance is paid in cash (USD or VND) when you meet your guide in Ha Giang.

Can you accommodate dietary needs?

Yes — vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and halal options are arranged at every homestay with 48-hour advance notice. Let us know in the booking form.
